Accumulations
Created along the coastal hillsides and prairies surrounding San Francisco, these photographs are exposures of multiple weeks to several months overlooking the landscape. Built specifically for this project, the pinhole cameras used to make these pictures have been designed to look like birdhouses- to both blend into the landscape and deter tampering by the public. While simultaneously surveilling and recording their accumulative exposures, the resulting photographs were made clinging to cliffs and blowing in the breeze along the Northern California coast.
